Unresolved generational conflicts are a good thing! They offer us valuable information about where and how organizations fall short of being future-fit. But translating friction into sustainable innovation is a journey.
What skills would organizations invest in if they better understood how generations differ in their digital socialization, needs, and expectations? How would we lead if we recognized that many of us experience changes in tech, culture, and the organization of work as loss, not just as opportunity? What could happen if we allowed our out-groups to become our in-groups?
In times that feel like change on steroids, we create a place to start: Drawing on insights from learning design, inclusion and belonging, relational intelligence, leadership, and death care, we explore essential Gen XYZ skills for the hybrid workplace and hacks for empowered teams across gens and sectors.
