If you can sew a button, you can sew an LED and learn something about circuitry! Wearable electronics are invading our clothes more and more. Even if they may not have hit mainstream fashion yet, Lilypad lights are stylish and machine-washable. During this workshop, you will learn how to sew a couple of LEDs and a battery onto fabric using conductive thread. We will demonstrate some creative on/off switches using buttons and sensors and share a few online examples of exciting wearable electronic fashion.
This session is part of the GIG programme.
