We're increasingly living in hybrid realities. This is especially true for youth. Current global social media consumption among youth averages at 4,5 hours a day: More than half of their spare time!

This means that for a lot of teens the virtual world feels at least as real as their ‘analogue’ identity and offline lives. This is not without consequences. Especially when they are attacked, ridiculed, abused and cancelled online. Mental health providers, teachers, policy makers, and parents are taking note. The attention and concern has exploded.

But how do the affected teens and young adults deal with this? Where can they turn to? You are Your Profile Foundation asked them to share their experiences as part of a research project, while Digital Rights House works on creating institutional roads to get help. In this session, we'll share what we're trying to do and invite you to share your feedback and ideas.
