Daphne van Doorn is Head of EU Affairs at the German Association for the Digital Economy (Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft e.V.). She has a longstanding track-record of public affairs, having represented several organisations and companies ranging from healthcare, food, life sciences and digital industries, whilst having been based in Brussels, Düsseldorf and Berlin. Currently, in her role for the German digital economy, Daphne represents BVDW’s interest at European level, specifically focussing on online consumer protection, Digital Fairness as well as the implementation of the Digital Services Act. In her spare time, she likes to visit concerts, art galleries and meet up with friends. As a Dutch national, bicycle rides are also always recommended.
