Chinmayi is the founder of The Bachchao Project (thebachchaoproject.org). The Bachchao Project is an community effort to develop/ support open technologies and technical frameworks with the goal of prevention of Gender Based Violence and to promote equal rights for women and LGBTQIA communities.

Chinmayi has been a pivotal part of several civil society projects to address gender and humanitarian issues. She supports the technical and policy needs of numerous organisations through research and trainings.
