Politics & Society
re:connecting Europe 2017

Short thesis:

We all believe to know were Digitalization has its home: in Silicon Valley. But is this really true? Recent developments in India and other countries call this into question. Are you interested to see the big picture? Then this topic is for you!

Description:

Significant trends in digitalization arise not just in California but also in other places around the world – for example in Bangalore. The Indian ID - the world's largest biometrical project - will serve us as a case example to discuss how we can put the spotlight on projects and innovations beyond the Silicon Valley, and what we can learn from a more global perspective.
