Is re:publica 25 recognised as educational leave?

Unfortunately, the state of Berlin has not recognised re:publica 25 as educational leave this time – the same applies to the other federal states. However, this does not mean that special leave for participation in #rp25 is not possible!

Just ask at your place of work - every employer may freely decide on this, and there are often special internal regulations. Experience shows that some employers are willing to discuss this due to the nature of re:publica. Special leave can also be granted without the event being officially certified.
