Is #rp26 approved as educational leave?

Unfortunately, re:publica does not meet the formal criteria of Berlin's Educational Leave Act (BiZeitG). However, this does not mean that you cannot apply for special vacation time to attend! 

We recommend that you speak directly to your employer. There are often special internal regulations in place for this. Many companies support attendance at re:publica as part of their regular training budget or through individual time off – even without formal recognition as educational leave.
