Anna Saraste is a freelance journalist and moderator based in Berlin. Her previous reporting has included topics such as human rights, state surveillance, and counter-terrorism measures. She studied journalism at the University of Tampere, Finland and has researched the role of journalism in post-conflict societies. Currently she is employed by the Schwarzkopf Foundation, which enhances European understanding among young people across the continent.
