Tetyana Bohdanova

A native of Lviv, Ukraine, Tetyana has spent the last ten years working in civil society development and studying impact of technology on activism in seven countries across Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. Her experience ranges from advocating for local change, to promoting legislative reforms and defending free and fair elections in the region and beyond. Since 2010, Tetyana writes about social media developments and digital activism in Ukraine and its neighbors for Global Voices, where she’s been instrumental in covering Ukraine’s EuroMaidan uprising and its aftermath. With a Master’s degree from the Free University of Berlin, in her spare time Tetyana is an independent researcher and traveler.
