Roberto Fassone (1986) lives and works in Florence. Part of his research focuses on making simple artworks that can be explained in few words. Examples of these might include designing an instructions generator for the production of potential artworks, lip-synching Bon Jovi, giving a lecture about creativity without ever using the letter R, presenting a book in 35 different ways and hiring a lawyer to win a performance festival. The other part of his research consists on explaining how to make these type of artworks, but it is impossible to describe it in few words. He has exhibited and performed his work at Carroll/Fletcher, London, ZHdK, Zurich, MARS Gallery, Melbourne, MAMbo, Bologna, and Link Cabinet among many others. He has been recently part of VISIO – European Programme on Artists’ Moving Images 4th edition and has been awarded the second prize of ArtOnYourScreen, held by Zkm.
