Gerald has worked in brand strategy and digital marketing for more than 20 years with his current role as an independent digital brand strategist. In 2017 he has also founded Fearless Democracy e.V. - an NGO that deals with the "fear-industry" as driving factor of populism all over the world. One of Fearless Democracy's primary projects this year is Hate Aid, a new concept that focuses on helping the ones attacked by digital mass violence. Other than that, Fearless Democracy tries to reveal the driving factors behind digital mass violence by using data journalism as an insight.
