Call for Papers: #FASHIONTECH Berlin!
Wow, thanks to all of you, 2015's #FASHIONTECH Berlin events were a huge success! Let's keep this energy going. We are pleased to invite you to the next edition of the conference about the future of fashion and wearables, which will take place at Kühlhaus Berlin on 20 January 2016, as part of the PREMIUM trade show.
Just one year ago, we presented this new conference format, which brings re:publica, PREMIUM and SEEK together to focus on wearables and the future of fashion. Since then, three events have already taken place: in January and July, as part of Berlin Fashion Week, and in May, alongside re:publica 2015. We welcomed over 2,000 participants to our last event - a huge 'thank you' to all of you who joined!
Now it's time for you to get involved again: Submit your ideas and projects uniting fashion design and tech! Do you tinker with smart, wearable gadgets to improve day-to-day life? Are you developing new materials for different dimensions, DIY innovations and wearable hacks that improve privacy? Are you involved in digitising the fashion industry? Or maybe you're working on something totally different and new, which brings technology and fashion together in an exciting and adventurous way. If so, #FASHIONTECH is for you! We look forward to your submissions on e-commerce and retail, wearables and design, as well as digital marketing and communication.
We hope to see you in January for the 4th #FASHIONTECH Berlin and at the 10th re:publica in May 2016. Send an e-mail with your ideas straight to programme at fashiontech dot berlin by the end of November and join us on 20 January at Kühlhaus Berlin.
If you'd also like to submit your project to the upcoming re:publica in May 2016, please use the normal route via the speaker registration page. Details on how to submit for #rpTEN can be found on our Call for Papers page.
We look forward to hearing from you – apply now to #FASHIONTECH!
