With talks, workshops and discussion panels, Lab1886 - one of our main partners - is presenting future-oriented mobility topics. Highlights include the panel with Susanne Hahn, Head of Lab1886 Global, and Alex Zosel, co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) of Volocopter GmbH, on mobility in the third dimension, as well as the interview by Ralf Reichert, the Director of Turtle Entertainment who runs Electronic Sports League (ESL), with Dr Jens Thiemer, Vice President Marketing Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars, on the significance of eSports in the digital society.
In 15 sessions Lab1886 and its Shuttle Truck will be giving many Group initiatives a stage, demonstrating the diversity of innovation of Daimler AG. The spectrum of topics ranges from digital mobility solutions for people with disabilities through innovative services related to car parking to projects which are driving forward Daimler's transformation into an integral mobility service provider. In its activities Lab1886 concentrates on aspects which ensure a sustainable and profitable future for Daimler AG, supporting the Group in retaining its leading position in a new era of mobility. "We are delighted to be entering into dialogue with experts and thought leaders at re:publica, to talk about digital culture and show them Daimler AG's power of innovation", commented Susanne Hahn, Head of Lab1886 Global.
Top speakers on key issues of tomorrow
The focus of Lab1886's involvement at re:publica is the exchange of ideas with visitors. Alongside the Shuttle Truck in the outside area, Daimler AG's incubator will also be presenting itself with its own interactive stand. It embodies the pioneering spirit of Lab1886 and is presenting projects from this innovation hub. At re:publica 2018 Daimler is demonstrating how the company is continuing to shape future mobility and how it is utilising the opportunities that come with digitisation.
