New Record: Never Been so Feminine! The Feedback on #rp17

In our humble opinion, re:publica 2017 was another amazing one: 100% of our team would attend a great event like that again! But we also want to know what you thought of it, of course. That’s why we conducted another one of our surveys. Over 1,130 people answered our questions and we’re here to share the results with you.

For the first time, female re:publica attendees were in the majority (51.85%). That wasn’t the only statistic we found amazing – the age span ranged from toddlers (2.98% of the participants were there with children!) to over 65 years of age. You were also international: besides the majority from Germany (88.91%), we had people travelling from other countries in the EU (9.77%), and even from other continents (1.32%). Our programme was the main reason (81.52%) for a visit from the mostly employed (42.47%) and freelancers (21.41%) among you. And we’d like to send a special thanks out to your friends and colleagues who were the reason over half of you (50.76%) heard about us in the first place!

On average, you’ve taken part in the re:publica four times already and most of you (79.50%) are planning to again, with some even aiming to join us in Dublin at  #rpDUB from 7 to 8 September 2017 (5.21%) and Thessaloniki for #rpTHE (4.66%), which takes place from 11 to 13 September 2017. We’re really happy to hear it and can hardly wait to see you again!

Want to find out more? We’ve made the 27 questions and answers available as a download to allow you some insight into the survey results. Answers to questions which required original input from you will not be shown. Rest assured though, that we read all of them and reflected on all the constructive criticism, suggestions for improvements and praise. Feel free to send any further comments via our contact form or via email to: info(at)re-publica.de.
