Bring your old gadgets, phones and laptops to learn from experts in the Berlin community and beyond.

Repairing instead of throwing away isn’t just practical—it’s a mindset. It challenges the idea of disposable tech and teaches valuable skills that connect generations. Whether you’re new to fixing things or a seasoned DIYer, join the conversation about how repair culture can make a real difference and how you can get involved locally.

In this space we’ll also have an open discussion about Berlin's repair projects, what needs to happen for more people to get involved, how repair can bring younger and older people together – and where people can find their local repair cafe/project.

The repair café @ re:publica Makerspace is part of GIG's efforts to promote global solidarity in urban transformation.
