re:publica is creating new impulses. With the conference for digital society, #rp18, taking place at STATION-Berlin, im:pulse 18 will host symposia on 3rd and 4th May within the framework of re:publica 18. On each of the two days, four half-day symposium on digital food, digital retail, women in fintech and experience marketing will facilitate professional exchange, knowledge transfer and encounters. The inaugural collaboration between re:publica, dfv media group and dfv conference will be presented at the German Museum of Technology’s atmospheric premises. In the course of the symposia, all attendees may participate in a guided tour of re:publica and in meet-ups.

Dates of the im:pulse event series:

I. im:pulse digital food on May 3rd, 9 AM – 1 PM (This event will be in German)

 

im:pulse digital food addresses digitalization in the food sector. Topics include opportunities and risks for the food industry, food tracking and how 3D food printing is changing the business. The symposium will be accompanied by specialist publications Food service und FoodService Europe & Middle East. The conference language is German.

 

II: im:pulse digital retail on May 3rd, 2 PM – 6 PM (This event will be in German)

 

im:pulse digital retail will address digitalisation in the retail market, comprising drone logistics, multi, cross and omni channel shopping, e-commerce, robotics, alternative trading models such as Disruptive Retail and shopping as an experience. The symposium will be accompanied by specialist publication Lebensmittel Zeitung. The conference language is German.

 

III. im:pulse women in fintech on May 4th, 9 AM – 1 PM (This event will be in English)

 

im:pulse women in fintech brings together the financial market’s female stakeholders. We’re particularly interested in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data within the banking and insurance industry, startups, financial service providers, Blockchain as well as privacy and data protection. im:pulse women in fintech offers a unique setting for exchange within the industry. The conference language is English and in particular for women and non-heteronormative identifying persons.  

 

IV. im:pulse experience marketing on May 4th, 2 PM – 6 PM (This event will be in German)

 

im:pulse experience marketing brings digital marketing trends of 2020 on stage. Will Chatbots, target group activation and immersive marketing define our future market? And what about social influencers? This symposium will be accompanied by specialist publication HORIZONT. The conference language is German.

Tickets can be purchased at €299 after tax. Symposium ticket prices include:

  • Guided tour of re:publica (before/after the symposium and the opportunity to network)
  • Snacks (breakfast in the mornings, cake in the afternoons) and beverages (coffee, tea, cold drinks)
  • Participation in the half-day symposium
