TINCON x re:publica 23

On 7 and 8 June 2023, Berlin's TINCON will once again take place at Festsaal Kreuzberg. The conference for digital youth culture is about the interests and social participation of young people between the ages of 13 and 25. Participants can expect exciting talks and discussions with young and well-known speakers on current developments in pop culture and lifestyle, society and politics or tech and science.

In addition to the programme on two TINCON stages, participants can get active themselves in workshops, in the Making Space and in the Gaming Area. In the outdoor area of the festival hall there will also be enough space to exchange ideas and network.

There is also a focus on promoting media competence among schoolchildren, which is why the programme on Thursday, 8 June, is especially geared towards school classes.

Generation TINCON meets generation re:publica

The finale of re:publica will once again be the prelude to TINCON. This means that everyone between the ages of 13 and 25 can not only attend TINCON, but also #rp23 for free on Wednesday, 7 June. In addition, re:publica visitors will also receive access to TINCON on this day. We look forward to an intergenerational dialogue!

Tickets and workshops are completely free of charge

For young people from 13 to 25 years of age and for accompanying persons of youth groups and classes, participation in TINCON and the accompanying workshops is free of charge after prior registration.

About TINCON

In 2016, Johnny and Tanja Haeusler, co-founders of re:publica, launched the Berlin-based TINCON to help the young generation gain more social participation and public visibility. Since then, the non-profit TINCON has been organising online and offline events all over Germany around digital youth culture - by and for young people. TINCON was awarded the Grimme Online Award 2019.
