Johannes is an independent strategy consultant, facilitator, and coach who supports leaders, teams, and communities in cultivating cultures grounded in relational intelligence. Until 2021, he served as International Director of Strategy & Organizational Development at Humanity in Action, a leadership development organization where he remains a Senior Fellow. Johannes co-founded and co-directed the Landecker Democracy Fellowship in partnership with the Alfred Landecker Foundation, whom he later helped realize their vision for building an interconnected network. Among various ventures, Johannes currently serves as a philanthropy advisor to the King Baudouin Foundation, a program strategist at New America, a community weaving consultant for Hillel, and an executive coach with over 500 hours of experience and clients across all continents. Johannes was an analyst at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, is an alumnus of King’s College London, Humboldt University Berlin, and Johns Hopkins University, and is certified in systemic transformational design, ontological coaching, and the Google-born Search Inside Yourself emotional intelligence leadership program. He partners globally with philanthropists, Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, foundations, and universities.
