Bastian Walthierer has had diverse experiences in various fields, including media engineering, web design and development, usability engineering, and marketing. He has also been actively involved in community work and volunteering.

In his most recent position, he worked on the development of a tool to plan and organize media training in refugee settlements in Uganda and South Sudan. Prior to that, he was a employee in marketing and sales for a vegan startup, and also worked as the Head of front-end development for a neighborhood initiative in Leipzig. He has also worked as a freelancer in web design and development, and as an employee in a non-profit initiative for children. Additionally, he has worked as a research assistant in usability engineering and as a model builder in the manufacturing industry.

Aside from his professional experience, he has also been involved in various community work and volunteering activities, such as organizing events, running a cultural association, and providing tutoring services for refugees.
