Politics & Society
This talk is about how to die on internet. It is based on a long European dark tradition of exploring death as a form of doing culture, philosophy and technology and politics too. It is not really about physical death. This talk will look into forms, formats, modes and stories of dying online. Dying on internet is easy, it does not mean it is always fun, however it might be very funny. This little exploration into the real dark side (don’t mix it with dark net) of internet is based on the upcoming book of the speaker under the same title. Death on internet is a great subject.
It is probably easier to say what this talk is not about then what it actually is about. It is based on the assumption that the audience will have some basic experience of dying on internet, or at least might be suspecting they once did. First we will establish some common ground of the problem and then explore it to its (deadly) limits. If you feel like you belong to the internet in one or another way - your benefits from this talk might be vital.
