Andrea Bauer

Andrea Bauer studied economics, new media, entrepreneurship, and innovation at the University of St. Gallen, the Berlin University of the Arts, and the Berlin HTW University of Applied Sciences. Today she works as an innovation consultant and strategist. She is the founder of BEAM Innovation Studio, a boutique business consultancy that focuses on how to foster innovation by applying emerging technologies and sustainable business methods.

In 2014 she co-founded D.DAY Network, a think tank of leading thinkers and creators, dedicated to helping to aspire a holistic understanding of the effects of our digital era. As an author, she published the books „The Krypto Economy“ in 2017, and „Trusting in Mobile Payment“ in 2013.

Besides she is a contributor to a diversity of innovation platforms in the role of a committee member, host, moderator, mentor, or co-creator. Since 2017 Andrea Bauer is a lecturer in Sustainable Business Design in the master's program Strategic Design at the SRH Berlin (former design academy berlin), where she teaches 'Sustainability and Circular Design' and 'Future Tech'.
