Lambert Heller he/him

With a background in social sciences, Lambert worked for research libraries since 2004, and started TIB Open Science Lab in 2013.

He creates infrastructure for open science and cultural memory. Amongst other things, he initiated the first participatory Erinnerungskultur project in Germany involving Wikidata, "Gestapo.Terror.Orte" (2020-2026). He is a science communicator, e.g. in 2025 he gave interviews to NDR Fernsehen, heise, RiffReporter and other about how TIB saves arXiv, to protect the data from US government interventions.  

He feels passionate about some TV series (mostly "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Battlestar Galactica" 2004), the Mediterranean kitchen, and good coffee.
