Lena Thiele is an author and internationally awarded media artist, and Artistic Director of the Berlin-based Miiqo Studios. She creates immersive, research-based storytelling formats that engage with socially relevant topics, particularly in the fields of ecology, biodiversity, and sustainability. Her work has been presented internationally and includes the award-winning project MYRIAD. Where we connect.
She is Acting Professor for Creative Producing with a focus on Immersive Media and Digital Storytelling at Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, and previously served as Professor of Digital Narratives at ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln, where she co-developed and built the MA Digital Narratives programme.
