Die Bürokratiemonster

We are The Bürokratiemonster – Fleur, Justus, and Robin. We fight for environmental protection, the rule of law, and human rights – and thereby also for bureaucracy. Bureaucracy deserves a better narrative than the chainsaw. Yes, we deserve good bureaucracy! It protects us all and is the backbone of democracy. As a society, we must question laws, but also defend them where they are important. Our mission? We use satire to make public discourse on bureaucracy more nuanced – countering the one-sided bashing of bureaucracy. 

We make an impact by

• Informing: We educate citizens in an entertaining, funny, and competent way.

To this end, we research and cooperate to disseminate content via our website and social media.

• Taking a clear stance: We pursue political goals because we want to preserve and expand bureaucracy that is worth protecting. Environmental impact assessments, for example.
• Building networks: We work with others on our research and campaigns. We can best defend the rules that protect us all by working together.

Bringing humour: We make bureaucracy funny. We show that the Bürokratiemonster are funny and lovable - and worthy of protection.
