Off Stage: Bring your creative ideas to the festival grounds of re:publica

Indoors or outdoors? On the water, on the shore, on sand or in the pool? Our new locations at re:publica offer even more venues, niches and spaces for Off Stage events of all kinds. We invite you to bring the spacious festival grounds to life with your ideas this June and have a blast at re:publica 22!

That's why we are looking for your creative contributions as part of the current Call for Participation: from installations, VR/AR games, acro or aerial yoga, roller disco, AI oracle, theatre plays and musicals to cooking shows, film screenings and anything else you can think of! Suggest anything your creativity has to offer!

A variety of spaces, locations and areas on the entire festival grounds are available to you this year—for example the beach, the boat "Hoppetosse", the pool of "Badeschiff", the Arena Club or the entrance hall of "Glashaus".

All of these places are open to your ideas and actions:

Glashaus
The "Glashaus" offers space for your participatory stage actions, meetup spaces or art installations in the entrance area.

Arena Club
We envision a fortune teller or an AI oracle in the booth at the entrance of Arena Club and look forward to your art installations, digital art, games, magic or DJ and karaoke actions! Bring your creative format to the club!

Hall
The hall of Arena Berlin is the heart of #rp22. It features a large stage, our Expo Area, but also plenty of space for your Off Stage action.
How about a cooking show in one of the fully equipped kitchenettes? Or a book signing session in a seperate room? Invite participants to Q&A sessions or flash talks - we'll help you find the right place inside the hall!

Beach
The new re:publica yard not only offers a view of the Spree, but even its own beach next to the "Badeschiff" pool. Build sandcastles, salute the sun with yoga or paint mandalas and turn the beach into a colourful and diverse place with your creative art installations and actions!

Along the Spree
A waterfront art installation or intervention? A projection on a container wall? The outdoor area of #rp22 offers lots of possibilities for your actions and formats!

And you can also turn the historic excursion steamer "Hoppetosse", located directly in front of the hall, into a unique venue for the off-stage programme with your creative format ideas, performances or interventions!
