STATION Berlin

The re:publica x Reeperbahn Festival programme will take place on 22 and 23 September 2023 in the Festival Village on the Heiligengeistfeld in Hamburg. A festival ticket is required to participate in the re:publica programme.
The Festival Village at Heiligengeistfeld
The entrance to the Festival Village on the Heiligengeistfeld is on the corner of Budapester Straße and Glacischaussee (U St. Pauli). There you will also find the ticket desk of the Reeperbahn Festival, where you can exchange your ticket for a wristband.

The Festival Village is open to the public – even without a ticket. There are concerts on an open air stage, food courts and various exhibitions. The re:publica stages are located right in the middle: The Neo House and the Spiegelzelt are only accessible with a festival ticket. Other re:publica sessions will take place on an open air stage (Hangar) and in several pagoda tents.

Luggage
Bags and backpacks up to a size of 210 x 297 mm (equivalent to DIN A4) may be brought along. As in previous years, there will be a central bag cloakroom in the Festival Village at Heiligengeistfeld where you can drop off bags for a fee of 2-3 €/day. Please allow for some waiting time, especially at peak times.
For logistical reasons there will be no cloakroom in the venues, so no or only small luggage is an advantage. Please also note the ban of glass bottles at Reeperbahn!
Arrival
The entrance gate with accreditation counter and luggage cloakroom is located near the St. Pauli metro stop.
We recommend travelling within Hamburg by bicycle or public transport:
- Metro: Line 3 to the U St. Pauli stop. Attention: The U3 will be shut down from Friday, 22.09., 21:30. A replacement bus service will be provided.
- Suburban railway: Line S1 and S3 to the Reeperbahn or Landungsbrücken stops, approx. 15 minutes by foot.
- Bus: Lines 16, 17, 37, 112, 607, 608, 609. 610, 641, 688 to the U St. Pauli stop.
Reeperbahn Festival tickets and wristbands entitle you to travel with the HVV to the venue and back on the day(s) of their validity (HVV total area, outward and return journey incl. express bus, valid until the end of service on the day of validity).
There will be no parking spaces on the grounds during the event. Cars can only be parked in the wider vicinity of the event site - there are no reserved spaces. Please allow time for this if necessary.
Food & Drinks
There will be food courts in the Festival Village offering a wide variety of food and drinks. The food stands will be open daily from 12:00.
Accessibility & sign language interpretation
The site is at ground level and the tents have low barrier access. You will find barrier-free sanitary facilities in the Festival Village on the Heiligengeistfeld.
A team of sign language interpreters will be on duty on both days of the event. You can ask for them at the re:publica accreditation desk at the entrance.
If you have any problems or questions on site, the staff at the info desks in the Festival Village on the Heiligengeistfeld will be happy to help you.
Lost & Found
Have you lost or found something? Contact the team at the Info Point at the entrance to the Festival Village.
Awareness Team
The awareness team is there for visitors and crew members when support is needed in an overwhelming situation, boundary crossing or discrimination. The person concerned alone decides what constitutes a boundary violation.
At the entrance to the Festival Village there are places for support and relaxation. Those affected can come there directly or be picked up by the Awareness Team to find protection and peace. The Awareness Team can be found both stationary at the Awareness Points and mobile on the grounds of the Reeperbahn Festival - recognisable by their denim waistcoats with the purple umbrella symbol.
You can reach the Awareness Team via the QR codes, which are attached to central places like stages and entrances as well as on posters, if support is needed. Outside opening hours you can reach the awareness team at awareness (at) reeperbahnfestival (dot) com.
Code of Conduct
For more than 15 years, re:publica stands for diversity in an open society – in the programme, on our communication channels and, of course, on site.
Photo & Filming
Photos and video recordings will be made during the event. By participating, guests agree to be photographed in this context.
