re:publica is for everyone! That's why children are more than welcome here. The time at #rp24 should be fun for parents and children – there are various offers and locations at our festival for this purpose.

The first place to go for anyone coming to re:publica with a child is the Kids & Baby Space near the accreditation desk at the main entrance. There is a quiet corner for parents, caregivers and infants for short breaks or for nursing. You will also find a nappy-changing table here and baby carriers that can be borrowed for a deposit.

At the Affenfelsen (Monkey Rock) – the central meeting point at re:publica in Hall 3 – and at the Homebase in the Community Garden, there are two play stations for kids with great toys, colouring books, pencils, crayons and a library with (picture) books.

The outdoor area with bobby cars and a sandpit in the DTM Park promises even more action.

A workshop highlight also awaits all children in the Lokschuppen of the Deutsches Technikmuseum (German Museum of Technology): a city of the future is being created from small models for the little robot Ozobot.

For older kids aged 13 and above, we recommend a visit to TINCON, which takes place on all three days between 9.30 am and 2.30 pm in parallel to re:publica at STATION. Click here to register.

Children up to and including the age of 15 can attend re:publica 24 free of charge! Please remember to bring proof of age. Further information can be found here.

If you are coming to re:publica with a child, there is the possibility to get free access for a caregiver. Please send an enquiry to as soon as possible. You can find more information here.
