From blogs to YouTube to TikTok: Our digital spaces are changing – just like we are. What does this mean for our communication, our political participation, our identities? And how does growing up in different digital environments shape our perspectives on society?

At re:publica 25, experiences and perspectives of three defining generations of the digital age come together. Although socialised in very different online realities, Patricia Cammarata, Theresia Crone and Oğuz Yılmaz sharing many common questions about the internet today and its future. Moderated by Johnny Haeusler, Co-Founder of re:publica and TINCON, they will explore: What kind of digital spaces we need for open dialogue between generations? And how can we create a digital society of tomorrow that is based on solidarity, justice, and democracy?

Patricia Cammarata has been writing online under dasnuf.de since 2004, and with such success that she has already won several awards. Patricia is a graduate psychologist and a keynote speaker on the topics of work-life balance and equality. Her SPIEGEL bestsellers "Raus aus der Mental Load-Falle" and "Musterbruch: überraschende Lösungen für wirkliche Gleichberechtigung" have sparked a wide-ranging social debate on gender equality. Patricia is also the co-host of three podcasts: "Mit Kindern leben", "Nur dreißig Minuten: ein Podcast über Kinder und digitale Medien", and "Der Weisheit".

Theresia Crone is a German activist. As an author, she writes columns and has even written a school textbook on climate protection. Theresia studied German and French law in Cologne and Paris and now works in a law firm specialising in media law. She played a key role in the #ReclaimTikTok campaign during the European elections and has since been posting videos on TikTok, where she talks about politics, her studies, or her chronic illness, endometriosis.

Oğuz Yılmaz is a fixture in the German YouTube landscape and a pioneer in the digital media world. As a co-founder of Y-Titty, once Germany's most successful YouTube channel with over three million subscribers, he captured the screens of millions of young people, performed sold-out concerts, and even won an ECHO at the peak of his career. Today, Yılmaz is also known as the founder of the talent management agency YilmazHummel, which provides a platform for successful and emerging talents. Moreover, he has made a name for himself as an expert on the creator economy in Germany. With his critical perspective and extensive experience, he significantly shapes the growth and transformation of the industry.
