Fabian Grischkat has first-hand experience of this: whether it's exposing fake accounts or outsmarting algorithms, he calls his counter-strategy ‘Flood TikTok with truth’. In 2024, he secured the trademark rights to the term ‘Stolzmonat’ (pride month), which had previously been used by right-wing extremists, and was able to raise around €10,000 for the Magnus Hirschfeld Foundation through shirt sales. 

At #rp26, he will talk about how such campaigns can achieve success, what distinguishes him as a ‘newsfluencer’ from traditional journalists, and why we should not give up hope just yet.

Fabian Grischkat educates people on social media about relevant political and social issues. In doing so, he repeatedly debunks the strategies of populists and conspiracy theorists. In 2025, he published a book co-authored with Baro Vicenta Ra Gabbert entitled ‘Keine Zukunft ist auch keine Lösung.
