Christian Herzog is an engineering researcher turned ethicist—or rather, he is fusing expertise in technology with the humanities as a transdisciplinary researcher. As such, he has been recently appointed Professor for Ethical, Legal and Social Aspects of AI at the University of Lübeck, where he continues to head the Ethical Innovation Hub, a bridge-building initiative between technological science and the humanities. His research interests concern the ethics and epistemology of technology—especially in health and public administration.
