Pia Sombetzki is Policy & Advocacy Manager at AlgorithmWatch, where she deals with the effects of the increasing use of automated decision-making systems in various areas of life, be it at work, in the public sector or on social networks. Among other things, she analyses where discriminatory effects occur in these application contexts and draws the attention of politicians and the media to how such problems can be tackled.
