Annie Slemrod is an award-winning journalist, editor and creative storyteller who has worked in the Middle East for more than ten years. She is The New Humanitarian’s Middle East editor. Some of her recent work includes The Yemen Listening Project –an innovative work of Arabic-English participatory journalism – and "WhatsApp, Lebanon?" which tells the story of Lebanon’s economic collapse through the WhatsApp messages of five people.
