Andrea Schwemmer

Andrea Schwemmer works as a moderator, acting coach and film curator. Her experience ranges from hosting award ceremonies, panel talks to emceeing film screenings and industry sessions for various international festivals and institutions such as re:publica, the Human Rights Foundation, interfilm Berlin and Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis. She curates film programmes for the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis and interfilm Berlin and is an acting coach with the Young Talents Acting School and on set for film productions. In addition to that, she gives pitch seminars for screenwriters and filmproject developers within festivals and markets, has experience in short film distribution and is currently one of 8 members of the artistic direction of interfilm Berlin. To add even more, she gives film education workshops and belongs to the all female swing band Toolbox Orchestra.
