To make sure you can enjoy our festival as usual, we have summarized the most important information for you:
re:publica 25 Opening hours
- Sunday, 25 May 2025: pre:publica | Accreditation open from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm

We recommend that you allow enough time for accreditation, as experience has shown that the rush is greatest on the first day. If you can, come to pre:publica on Sunday!
What you shouldn't forget and bring with you this year a.k.a. the #rp25 packing list:
-
Headphones, charger, power bank: once again this year, there will be some stages where you can only listen to the programme via headphones. For this we’ll be using the special audio system again. Please bring your own headphones and download the LiveVoice app to your smartphone or tablet. Also, please don't forget your chargers and power banks! If you run out of battery, you can borrow a power bank from our partner Rechargy. The six stations are spread across the entire location. In case you don't have any headphones and/or devices (with you), we have a (limited) number of headphones and devices available to borrow at the Infopoint. The stage managers at the respective stages will also be able to help you.
- Lanyard: For reasons of sustainability, we are once again refraining from producing lanyards this year. We are sure that almost every one of you has an old one at home and therefore ask you to bring one with you and reuse it. Otherwise, there will also be colorful cords at the entrance that you can use for your name tag.
- Drinking Bottle: At our water station (provided by Berliner Wasserbetriebe) you can fill your own bottles (up to 1 liter). The drinking water station is marked with a "water drop" on the map and is located in the main hall of STATION Berlin.
- T-Shirt: You can have your shirts and bags printed by us. Simply hand them to us in the Community Garden, choose your design and take home a unique upcycled item. The screen printing station is marked with a shirt symbol on the map.
- old, unused smartphones: Do you have a functional but unused smartphone in your drawer? Together with our partner Berliner Stadtmission, we are collecting old cell phone donations for the digital participation of homeless people at #rp25. Simply drop them in the collection box at the Info Point - preferably together with the corresponding charging cable. Don't forget to delete your data and PIN!
The re:publica programme app
Create your personal program schedule, get news and updates as well as all information about the speakers, locations and partners of re:publica Berlin 25! You can find it in the App Store for Android here and for iOS here.
How to get there
The entrance to STATION is located at Luckenwalder Straße 4-6.
Within Berlin, we recommend travelling by public transport or bicycle. The S&U train stations U Gleisdreieck, U Möckernbrücke and S Anhalter Bahnhof are only a few minutes' walk away.
Admission
Please note: Not everything is allowed on the re:publica festival grounds. You can find an overview of what you can and cannot bring here:
- Reusable bottles up to 1 liter are allowed on the grounds.
- Large backpacks, sports bags, travel bags and suitcases can be handed in at the checkroom. You are welcome to take backpacks, handbags and laptop bags inside.
- Dangerous items such as weapons, ammunition and pyrotechnic products are prohibited on the premises. They cannot be taken into safekeeping.
- Animals, with the exception of therapy dogs, are unfortunately not allowed on the premises.
- Bicycles, e-scooters, scooters, e-boards, skateboards and roller skates must also remain outside.
Livestream
Once again this year, we will be streaming the entire Stage 1 programme live on re-publica.com. We will record all sessions on stages 1-7 and the Lightning Boxes and, as always, make the videos available on our YouTube channel after the event.
As every year, photos and videos will be taken during re:publica. You can find the photos on our Flickr channel.
The festival location
To make sure you get to the program sessions quickly and don't miss anything, you can find our location map here.
Coworking & press lounge
Spaces for connection, focus and creative exchange: The coworking and press lounge equipped by LEIK at #rp25 invites you to pause, work and network. You will find it on the first floor directly above Stage 5.
Accessibility & inclusion
How to get there: Parking spaces for people with disabilities are available on site and additional parking spaces are in short distance. Also, you can get on and off directly in front of STATION Berlin. If you would like to use public transportation, you can find information on barrier-free travel in the BVG FAQ. The subway station “Gleisdreieck” and the S-Bahn station “Anhalter Bahnhof” are also equipped with an elevator.
On-Site: The STATION Berlin event space covers around 23,000 m². Most of it is used by re:publica. The grounds are largely barrier-free, at ground level and easily accessible for people in wheelchairs. Seating is always available on the way through the halls. Only Hall 5 on the upper floor can only be reached via stairs or an elevator. For a better impression, you can call up pictures of the individual halls and take a 360-degree tour on the STATION Berlin website. At Stage 1, we have designated priority seating for people in wheelchairs as well as seating with easy access. There are several wheelchair-accessible sanitary facilities on the grounds. They are marked on the site plan for the event.
Translation: Stage 1 program content can be followed either in the original sound, with language interpretation or in sign language. They can be experienced live on stage or via live stream. The interpretation into German Sign Language (DGS) will be broadcasted on screens next to the stage. We will designate seats from which this offer can best be followed. In addition to that, a mobile team of sign language interpreters (DGS) can be requested via the information counter. We also offer live transcription of the presentations and discussions for Stage 1. This means that the content presented can also be read.
Visitors who require the support of an accompanying person will receive an additional ticket free of charge - in exceptional cases also for more than one person or different accompanying persons on different days. To do this, select the “Reduced with accompanying person” category in our ticket store. Further information can be found here.
re:publica for parents and kids
re:publica is also a family event. Children are very welcome - regardless of age. Parents, children and caregivers will find a place to play and take a short break in the Kids & Baby Space at re:publica. It is equipped with toys, a changing table including diapers and snacks. There is an outdoor Kids Space for playing and running around as well as many other places that you can discover together with children on the festival.
Awareness-Team
A mobile awareness team will be on site on all festival days - recognizable by the white vests with the word “Awareness”. You can contact them directly or by phone (+49 30-202371439), by email to awareness@re-publica.com and via the info point.
Sustainability
re:publica is a place for engagement, emancipation and empathy in (digital) society. As a major event, we are aware of our special responsibility and want to make our contribution to sustainable development – in our programme and production. We want to make #rp25 as sustainable as possible for and with you. You can find a detailed overview of our sustainability measures here.
Food & Beverages
There will once again be a wide range of food and drinks and various food trucks on the festival site. Catering at re:publica has been completely vegetarian since 2022 - both for participants and the crew.
There is a standardised reusable system at #rp25. Whether coffee cup, chips bowl or bowl – this time you will receive drinks and food in reusable plastic tableware (mainly made of polypropylene), which makes it easier to return it to the recycling cycle. The only exception: food that is served by hand. You will receive these in paper. There will be two central collection points where you can return your deposit. The dishes will be collected from there and cleaned off-site.
#rp25 survey
It’s your turn! As always, we are interested in your opinions because your feedback is extremely valuable for us to further develop and improve our formats and content. We would therefore like to invite you to take part in our short online participant survey for #rp25. The online questionnaire is available here (from May 26).
re:publica thrives on peaceful and helpful cooperation. Experience the best re:publica you could wish for together in 2025.
If you ever get stuck, have questions or need help, come by our re:publica info point at any time or write to us (info@re-publica.com) and we'll help you.
We look forward to seeing you!
