Giacomo Nanni

I am an Information Designer and researcher focusing on environmental and social justice, storytelling and journalism. I explore the intersection of technology, data and design working with archives and datasets in collaboration with museums, universities and NGOs.

I am currently building Vantage, a tool designed to reconstruct the spatial context of video recordings. It is designed to the needs of fact-checkers, investigative journalists, and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) practitioners.

In addition, I am a project lead at Airwars and a researcher at metaLAB at Harvard & Berlin. I am also a member of Froh!, and occasionally teach at Weißensee Kunsthochschule.
