The booking fees go to Höme - Für Festivals GmbH, our new ticket service provider. The fee consists of € 0.95 per ticket plus a system fee of 5% of the total shopping cart value.

Our friends and partners at Höme - Für Festivals GmbH are shaping the future of the festival industry and using the fees as a lever for positive change. With your fees you support, for example, projects for climate protection, the promotion of mental health and more equality on, in front of and behind the stages. You can find more information here.

Why have the fees changed compared to the year before?

Since we already had to adjust the ticket prices for re:publica 2023 due to higher production costs, we wanted to avoid a further increase by all means. Last year, the ticketing/system fees were still included in the price because the entire support and processing was handled by republica GmbH. With Höme – Für Festivals GmbH, we have now chosen a value-based ticket service provider that uses a portion of the fees as a lever for positive change. With the change to the new provider, customer support will also be outsourced, as we can no longer cover this ourselves.

Please reach out to our ticket service provider Höme - Für Festivals GmbH via this contact form.

You can easily personalise your ticket, or all the tickets you have purchased, by clicking on "show ticket/order" in your order confirmation email and also in your ticket email.

Personalised tickets are only valid for the person named. However, it is possible to transfer a ticket to another person - read more here.

You can't make it to re:publica after all and would like to transfer your ticket to someone else? Do you want to sell or gift your ticket?

No problem. You can easily adjust the ticket data yourself. You will find a link for this purpose in your order confirmation and additionally in the ticket email you received from Höme – Für Festivals GmbH after booking. You can change the data of the personalised ticket by clicking on "show tickets" in the confirmation email.

Please note that this can only be done until 26 May 2024 and that there will be no refund. So if you don't want the ticket to be a gift, you would need to agree on a money exchange with the person receiving it beforehand. re:publica and republica GmbH are not responsible for privately resold tickets or the resale process.

If you have any questions or problems, just reach out to our ticket service provider Höme – Für Festivals GmbH via this contact form.

Our ticket service provider automatically sends an invoice with every complete ticket order. Sometimes the data on it may not be correct or incomplete.

Incorrect or incomplete billing address? Typing error? Customer reference or VAT ID missing? No problem, please reach out to our ticketing provider Höme – Für Festivals GmbH via this contact form or simply click the support button in your ticket/confirmation email.

You did not receive an e-mail with a link?

It may take a few minutes until you receive your order confirmation. Please also check your spam folder. If you still haven't received your order confirmation, please reach out to our ticket service provider Höme – Für Festivals GmbH via this contact form.

It's simple: You should have an official document that was valid at the time of the ticket purchase that you show us before validating the ticket. The name on the document should match the name on the ticket.

  • Pupils need a valid school ID with a photo (or an school ID plus photo ID if the school ID does not have a photo).
  • University students of any age need a valid student ID with photo or a current enrollment certificate and photo ID.
  • Apprentices, corporate volunteers ("Volontär*innen") and trainees need an informal written confirmation from the employer or a confirmation from the vocational school or the training center.
  • Recipients of Bürgergeld (previously: "ALG II") can show their Berlinpass or a written confirmation (e.g. official notice of eligibility).
  • FSJers and BFDers need a FSJ/BFD volunteer card or an informal written confirmation from the employer.
  • Pensioners (as well as all people aged 65 or older) must show a pension certificate or a photo ID with the corresponding date of birth.
  • People with disabilities need a disability card (degree of disability is not important to us) or a separate confirmation from re:publica (via ticket at re-publica.com). Info on accompanying persons for people with disabilities can be found here.

Please note: The documents must be (have been) valid at the time of ticket purchase. The country of origin is not relevant. Your official documents should be in German or English or clearly and easily understandable.

Of course you can! The easiest way is to buy a regular ticket for your companion. But there are other options as well:

  • Accompaniment for people with disabilities
The re:publica wants to be as accessible as possible for people with disabilities. We design the festival grounds to be as accessible as possible for people with disabilities and provide a variety of help and support. Unfortunately, however, not all barriers can be removed. People with disabilities can invite one accompanying person to re:publica free of charge. In exceptional cases, they can bring more than one person or different accompanying persons on different days. The "B" (accompanying person) in your ID card is not mandatory. To do so, select the category "Reduced with accompanying person" in our ticket shop. You will receive an additional ticket together with your discounted ticket, which you must personalise accordingly.

  • Childcare persons
If you are coming to re:publica with your child, there is the possibility to get free access to childcare (e.g. grandparents, nanny). Please send a request to ticket@re-publica.com as early as possible – but no later than 22 May 2024. The ticket is only valid for accompanying persons and not for parents who are attending re:publica at the same time.

  • Other accompanying persons or animals
We want all participants to feel comfortable and safe at re:publica. If you need a companion who does not fall into the "nanny" category, or e.g. a therapy dog or assistance animal (proof required), please contact us as soon as possible at ticket@re-publica.com.

As always, please contact us well in advance so that there will be no problems at the entrance. Thank you!

The ticket for an accompanying person is only valid in combination with a regular/reduced ticket. Both parties - i.e. ticket purchaser and accompanying person - must be present at the accreditation or ticket check-in.

Children up to and including 15 years of age are admitted free of charge. From the age of 16, a ticket is required.

We recommend that younger children are always accompanied and supervised by an adult. See also "Can I bring an accompanying person to re:publica?"

You have two options:

  • Become a volunteer
Before, during and after re:publica we rely on the support of volunteers. As a volunteer, you will be admitted to the event on all event days. You will support us on a day of your choice for about 8 hours, of course including food during your time of service. Information on volunteer accreditation will probably be available from February/March 2024.

  • Become a speaker
You can apply for your own talk, workshop, discussion panel or other activities via our "Call for Participation" (CfP).

Since October 2023 we have a new ticket service provider. As we share and appreciate the values and commitment of the new provider, we are very much looking forward to working with Höme - Für Festivals GmbH

Festivals, conferences, clubs and many other events are important places of social change. That's why our ticket service provider not only gives event organisers the appropriate tools, but also supports climate protection projects, calls for more equality in front of and behind the stage, works on a fair industry and develops projects to promote mental health. You can find out more here.

No, the ticket prices for re:publica 2024 have not increased compared to the previous year.

However, the pre-sale/system fees have increased. This is due to the fact that we have changed our ticket provider and do no longer handle the support and the entire processing ourselves.
