Sascha Funk

Sascha is based in Bangkok, Thailand where he works as Head of Media Studies and University lecturer at Thammasat University lecturing in Journalism, Digital Marketing, and New Media related subjects while overseeing research projects focusing on new media, communication & society as well digital transformation and educational technology. Prior to shifting his professional career to Southeast Asia he worked in management roles for New Media and Digital Marketing agencies in Europe. As long as he doesn't look at his salary cheque he does not regret his move at all. 

Currently Sascha is working on his PhD, advises and runs a start-up based in Bangkok, and tries to wake up the world in regards to the potential and importance that Southeast Asia holds.
