Kim Cordes (he/him) has grown up in East Westphalia, Germany since the 1990s. His work is situated in a interplay of Textiledesign, Material Research and Photography. While completing his economic studies in Leipzig in 2018, he founded a sustainable fashion label and a social club. Within his studies in textile design, Kim focuses on eco-social Materialresearch. His awarded bachelor's thesis ReFib-Recyclingfibroin as textile finishing combines designed research with industrial feasibility. In his artistic work he is questioning multi sensual experiences through textiles in the interference of haptic virtuality.
