Nimish Sawant

Nimish Sawant is a Berlin-based independent journalist with 14 years of experience covering technology, science, geopolitics, culture, and human interest stories. He's passionate about telling stories at the intersection of technology and society. Thanks to a journalism fellowship from the Robert Bosch Stiftung and a reporting stint in Berlin in 2017, working in the intercultural Indo-German context has been one of his strengths. Apart from writing, Nimish has also produced radio documentaries, podcasts and short video features. He dreams of a day when German media organizations will be filled with migration-background journalists.

When not pitching stories, Nimish loves to explore street art and the many subcultures of Berlin.
