Noura Chalati obtained a PhD in Political Science/ International Relations from Freie Universität Berlin. In her PhD, she worked on intelligence and surveillance, topics which she continues to be interest in. She works as Advocacy Officer with Reporters without Borders (RSF) Germany where she campaigns for the freedom of press and information and focuses on the transnational repression of journalists.
