In his role at Digital Rights House Jake enjoys having direct contact with citizens and representatives of (local) governments and public domain organisations in order to generate input for what he calls the Digital Rights Agenda and to create opportunities accelerating efforts on the further development of a digital human rights fundament in the context of the city. Jake also co-founded technology company iYYU in order to develop solutions enabling citizens to determine the terms of use of their person data, when active online. In all his activities Jake aims to stimulate the development of a more dignity driven society in times of increased digitalisation. Together with Jerry de Mars he also created the You are Your profile film initiative.
