Seronei Chelulei Cheison is a member of the Kenyan diaspora living in Germany, originally from Nandi Hills. Founder and CEO of Sinonin Biotech GmbH -leading alternative proteins, and flavour innovation for petfood-, he worked as a postdoc at the TU Munich and as the Global Flavour Innovation Manager for Mars Petcare. Through WIDU.Africa, he was able to support a local entrepreneur in Kenya, Ivine — a Swahili and CRE teacher who ventured into poultry farming and sustainable protein production through black soldier fly farming. Through his support, over 30 businesses have benefited from WIDU’s funding.
