Matthias Schmelzer

Matthias Schmelzer is an economic historian, social theorist and climate activist. He works at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena and the Institute for a New Economy (Leipzig). He has published The Hegemony of Growth (2016) and is co-author of The Future is Degrowth, out in June 2022.
