Elizabeth Calderón Lüning is an associate researcher at the Weizenbaum Institute - the German Internet Institute and a guest researcher at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. Her research focuses on democratic deliberation of digital policy within the urban context and the notion of digital sovereignty as the individual and collective freedom and right to actively partake in the shaping of digital life worlds. As co-founder of the "Digital City Alliance - Berlin" she seeks to ensure a fairer and more equitable city for city dwellers in the digital age.
