With a background in design and marketing, Kitty never figured that she would end up in the world of digital technologies. Its huge influence on society, culture and humanity - both for good and for not so good - proved to be a sticky fascination. Under her company name DutchBlend, she's enjoying herself as event programmer/curator of a multitude of (inter)national gatherings - including PICNIC Festival, Thought For Food, Mozfest House, MeConvention x SXSW, and Society 5.0 Festival. She's passionate about creating unconventional meetings of minds, environments to encourage critical thought, and design for social impact. She loves to work with a broad diversity of professionals from seemingly unrelated areas of expertise to come to unexpected insights on a shared interest. You can find all her projects listed on https://www.linkedin.com/in/kittyleering/.

Kitty is also a board member of Digital Rights House Foundation (Digital rights: digitalrightshouse.org), Foundation Pleinmuseum (Tech art: dropstuff.nl/en/), PreparationTech Foundation (Tech education: preparationtech.com), and Studio Julian Hetzel (Theater: julian-hetzel.com).
