Empowering Entanglement: How can leading quantum ecosystems join forces to amplify global impact?
How can leading quantum ecosystems join forces to amplify global impact? As quantum technologies move into a decisive phase of implementation, progress increasingly depends on collaboration between leading city‑level ecosystems that connect research excellence, entrepreneurship, industry, and policy.
This re:ception room by leap.berlin brings together Berlin, Paris, and Oxford, each a flagship quantum technology ecosystem within its national landscape and home to leading researchers and entrepreneurs. The session is embedded in the Berlin-Paris partnership of sister cities and the strategically prioritized cooperation between the Berlin University Alliance and the University of Oxford, and aims to highlight the role of these ecosystems in the first implementation phase of the German–UK Kensington Treaty (2026) and the German–French Economic Agenda (2025), both placing quantum technologies at their core.
Guided by the mission of Berlin Quantum and leap.berlin, the session also reflects Berlin’s ambition to be a globally recognized, cooperative quantum hub strong in quantum photonics and quantum information theory, and committed to fostering spin‑offs, industrial impact, and contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals, and both, Europe's technological sovereignty and economic competitiveness.
