Lena-Maria Böswald sie/ihr

Lena-Maria Böswald is a Senior Policy Researcher for interface’s Strengthening the Digital Public Sphere programme where she focuses on platform accountability & regulation and the enforcement of the Digital Services Act.

Before joining interface, Lena-Maria worked in advocacy and policy on hate speech and disinformation at Das NETTZ, in social media monitoring at Democracy Reporting International and as a lecturer in Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam. She has previously conducted research at the intersection of disinformation, dynamics of online hate and generative AI. 

Lena-Maria studied media and communications at the University of Regensburg and IHECS Brussels and completed her master's degree in political communication at the University of Amsterdam.
