Zusammenfassung

In this talk, Eleanor shows how to express regulation through radical feminist theory. With a team at the University of Cambridge, she created a pro-justice compliance toolkit that is free and open access, called HEAT (High Risk EU AI Act Toolkit). The tool uses feminism to debunk cheapened ideas around 'consent' while emphasizing that 'neutrality' is impossible - technology always has a politics. If you're interested in making regulation accessible, or how civil society can benefit from these pro-justice approaches to best practices for EU AI Act implementation, come along! Eleanor is looking for collaborators for the next stage of this project, which will involve translating this toolkit into a tool that citizens can use to improve their understanding of AI and seek redress for AI harms.
