Dorkbot meetings [1] pre-date the maker-movement and feature the slogan "people doing strange things with electricity".

We will bring custom ESP32-based video synthesis boards and show you how to control them via MIDI to create generative PAL video signals, which work with old-school TVs and projectors. For control we will be using the live-coding environment TidalCycles [2].

Create abstract video art and learn unusual and useful skills. Bring your laptop.
